About
Hi, I’m Linzy! I’m a queer, cis, white, woman of size. I was raised in the suburbs of Atlanta in a middle-class family, and I currently reside on Mvskoke (Muscogee) land in southwest Atlanta, Georgia.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work in 2014, after completing internships at Yale Child Study Center and Positive Impact. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—supporting children and families navigating trauma, working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS, facilitating groups for people convicted of sexual offenses, and counseling college students in a campus setting. In 2020, I launched my own practice to help individuals and couples create the sex and relationship lives of their dreams!
I strive to bring my full, authentic self to this work, so it’s no surprise that who I am outside the therapeutic space aligns with how I show up in it. You might find me walking with my adorable dog, Lola, baking delicious treats, playing spades or yahtzee, piecing together a jigsaw puzzle, or learning to sew. I’m also nurtured by a beautiful community that keeps me accountable, replenishes my spirit, and encourages me to follow my own pleasure—helping me stay grounded while working in solidarity to create a more pleasure-centered world.

My Approach
I use a combination of relational, feminist, narrative, and attachment therapies to explore how our therapeutic relationship can help you understand and strengthen the connections in your life.
My approach is rooted in building genuine relationships with clients—filled with playfulness, vulnerability, and understanding. I believe therapy works best as a collaboration, where we both lean into saying the hard things that can help expand sexual health, improve intimacy, and increase pleasure in your life.
Something you’ll often hear me say is: “The way we do one thing is the way we do most things.” While sex may be what brings you to therapy, we’ll also explore and unpack all areas of your life because everything is connected.
So, be prepared—I’m going to ask a lot of nosy questions! But I’ll be right there with you, fully committed to the process, as you discover the power to build the life you want.
