I enjoy working with a variety of people, and I find clients who are a good fit for me are often those interested in long-term, relational work.
I frequently work with queer women, interracial couples, and ethically non monogamous folks, though I welcome anyone who feels aligned with my approach.
Together we can determine if we seem like a good fit for one another, and this is true throughout our work together.

Humans are complicated beings, and I believe the way we do one thing is the way we do most things. So no, I work with clients on boundaries, conflict resolution, communication skills, stress management, relationship concerns, and more!

While I do not accept health insurance, you may be able to use your out-of-network benefits for behavioral and mental health services. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to determine whether your plan offers this coverage.
If you do have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a superbill at the end of each month, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Since every plan is different, it’s important you confirm the details of your coverage and the reimbursement process before our first session.
Please keep in mind using insurance will require a formal diagnosis.

I reserve 10% of my caseload to clients who need a reduced fee rate. These are intended for marginalized clients who are experiencing financial hardship and would not be able to access therapy otherwise.

Session frequency depends on a variety of factors. Weekly sessions provide a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the work, stay accountable, and maintain consistent engagement. However, I also recognize that we don’t always have the time, energy, or resources to commit to weekly therapy, making biweekly sessions a valuable alternative.
If you are experiencing a crisis, biweekly sessions are not an appropriate level of care, and meeting 1-2 times a week will be required until stabilization is reached.
Please note I do not meet with folks less frequently than biweekly. Too much life happens and sessions become more of a check-in rather than therapeutic.

Psychotherapy typically involves regular sessions that are 50 minutes in length. As we work together, we will determine the duration and frequency of our sessions based on the nature of your concerns and your individual needs. This is something we can continue to check in on and adjust as needed throughout our time together.

Once you reach out to me, we will schedule a brief phone consultation to assess if we are a good fit for one another. And if we decide to work together, I will send you a link to the client portal where you will complete the intake documents. Once those are complete, we will schedule your first session and go from there.
